Play areas
There are three areas maintained by the Parish Council situated near the Memorial Hall and Wrington Vale surgery.
There is an area for children up to 12 years which has play equipment such as a large climbing structure, roundabout, seesaw, slide, swings, a play house and bouncing animals. There is a bench and a picnic table for parents to use. Repairs and an upgrade to the tyre swing are planned in the 2008/9 budget.
The skateboard park was entirely revamped in 2007 at a cost of £25,000. It is very well used by local youngsters and others from further afield.
The BMX track is situated next to the skateboard park and is always evolving as the users try to make it a more exciting ride.
Unfortunately these areas, especially the children's play area, are subject to regular vandalism which means that the Parish Council has to spend money on repairs rather than the improvements it has planned.
